When it opens in 2015, the new Whitney museum, designed by Renzo Piano Building Workshop in partnership with Cooper, Robertson & Partners, will feature more than 50,000 square feet of gallery space, as well as outdoor exhibition spaces overlooking the High Line, a multi-use theater, and an education center for family and kid events.
